Blustery day

It’s a blustery day that is meant to see us elsewhere. We are meant to be out of the flow this week but despite cracking weather on the first day, the wind has built to a strong NNW leaving us confined to home waters. But, for all that, it has been a day of mini adventures….

Early start but not as early as it should have been: up to the welding workshop to modify the gate. Having widened it, there was less places to grab a hold of so two extra hand holds were welded on. This delayed the JE which was reving tyres waiting for the off so they could catch the tide on the Barrie.

Next stop dive, followed by fishing..

catching a few tiddlers but not enough to eat..

while other occupied chairs they could never fill..

and the rest of us went rib raiding with a circumnavingation on foot of Rysa Little.

Now we are sat, third boat out at Burray with the wind still whistling outside.
